Charlotte/Douglas International Airport popularly known as CLT is a major airport located in Charlotte, North Carolina. This airport is better recognized as a civil-military airport. After Dallas/Fort Worth, CLT is the second-largest hub for American Airlines. CLT Airport was established in the year 1935. It was named Charlotte Municipal Airport. Later in the year 1982, the airport received its new name which is Charlotte/Douglas International Airport.
